100 Women Who Care Ottawa meets Monday, Sept. 14 at the Heart & Crown, 353 Preston St., with a social hour beginning100 Women Who Care will start its second year in operation with a meeting on May 4. The organization, which launched in May 2014, has had a successful first year, raising nearly $50,000 and helping 12 grassroots Ottawa charities.at 5 p.m. and the meeting running from 6 p.m. to 7. "45 Minutes, 3 charities and $11925 - Not bad for the inaugural meeting of 100 Women Who Care Ottawa. The fundraising group held it's first meeting Monday night at the Heart and Crown on Preston. The money raised goes to help support Empathy House, Ottawa-Carleton Lifeskills, and the Shephards of Good Hope.
